Casemiro signs new Real Madrid deal

Casemiro has put pen to paper on a new contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2021.
The 23-year-old joined Los Blancos from Sao Paulo in 2013 and made 13 league appearances for the Spanish club before joining Porto on loan last summer.

Report: Rafinha to sign new Barcelona deal

Rafinha is reportedly close to signing a new long-term contract at Barcelona.
The 22-year-old has been at the Camp Nou since 2006 – progressing through the youth system before making his first-team debut in 2011.
The Brazilian-born attacker spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Celta Vigo, before returning to Barcelona last summer and making 36 appearances in all competitions as Luis Enrique's side won the treble.

The Argentine has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane after failing to fulfil his promise following a club-record £30m move from Roma in 2013.
Inter Milan are said to have held talks with the North London outfit regarding a move for Lamela, but according to the Daily Mail, Marseille are also interested.
Reports have claimed that while the Ligue 1 outfit are considering a bid, they are yet to officially approach Tottenham.

Athletic Bilbao announce Raul Garcia agreement

Athletic Bilbao have revealed that they have "reached an agreement in principle" to sign Raul Garcia from Atletico Madrid.
The 29-year-old Basque was not included in Atletico's squad to face Sevilla on Sunday, which led to suggestions that he could be heading out of Madrid.
Via an official statement, Bilbao have confirmed that they are close to signing the Spaniard after agreeing terms with Atletico and the player.
"Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Raul Garcia," read the statement on Bilbao's website.

Chelsea 'agree deal for Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji'

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal with Nantes to sign defender Papy Djilobodji.
The reigning Premier League champions have been in hot pursuit of Everton centre-back John Stones, but after three failed bids, it appears as though the Blues have turned their attention elsewhere.
According to The Mirror, an agreement between both clubs has been reached, meaning that Djilobodji is free to discuss terms at Stamford Bridge.
It is believed that the 27-year-old will undergo a medical in London today.

Neville believes that the Red Devils need to add a quality forward and a keeper, should David de Gea leave the club over the next few days, as his absence from the starting lineup continued at Swansea.
"They won't just wake up and think, 'Oh, we've lost a game, we're going to panic and sign four players' – they've probably always wanted to bring in players – but watching them, they need players," Neville toldSky Sports News.

Goals in the space of five second-half minutes from Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis flipped the game on its head following Juan Mata's 48th-minute opener, with United suffering their first Premier League defeat of the season.
Having missed out on signing Pedro and Nicolas Otamendi last week, the Red Devils are expected to be active in the final two days of the window, but Van Gaal insists that the defeat in Wales has not strengthened his desire for reinforcements.

The defender handed in a transfer request earlier this week amid speculation that he could join Chelsea, which was rejected by the Toffees.
After securing a point at White Hart Lane, the manager told BBC Sport: "He was under a lot of pressure, so his performance was that of someone who has the potential to become an England captain. He shows incredible composure and you would never say he's only 21-years-old.
"He accepts he is an Everton player. We want to be a winning team and John is a big part of that. We have our own ambitions and project and John is a big part of that. He showed a really strong face against Tottenham."
Stones joined Everton from Barsnley in 2013.

Bayern Munich to offer £18m for Seamus Coleman?

The Star claims that the German champions will offer £18m for the 26-year-old.
Coleman was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week, but the Toffees reportedly rejected the approach.
The Irishman joined Everton in 2009 from Sligo Rovers, for a fee of just £60,000

Report: Real Madrid to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea for £29m

The 24-year-old Spanish international has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu throughout the summer, and is yet to feature for the Red Devils this season.
The Independent reports that Madrid have sent club officials to Manchester to thrash out a deal for De Gea, with personal terms having already been agreed with the player.
The newspaper also claims that Los Blancos have no intention of including Gareth Bale in a deal for the goalkeeper, who moved to England from Atletico Madrid in 2011, and that Jasper Cillessen is being lined up as a replacement by United manager Louis van Gaal.
De Gea has made 131 appearances in the Premier League, winning the title under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 2012-13 campaign.

Volkswagen 'almost scuppered' Kevin de Bruyne move

Kevin de Bruyne's proposed move to Manchester City was nearly called off on the request of Wolfsburg sponsors Volkswagen, according to reports.
The Sunday People claims that the car company pushed Wolfsburg to accept a bid from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich instead.
Volkswagen chairman Martin Winterkorn is also on the board of Bayern and wanted to bring De Bruyne to the Allianz Arena, but Bayern were unable to reach Wolfsburg's asking price for the 24-year-old.
The Belgian is on the verge of completing a £58m move to Manchester City.

Result: Raheem Sterling on target as Manchester City maintain winning streak

The £49m man opened his account early after the break, before Fernandinho added another to ensure that the hosts - who have now scored 10 and conceded none - extended their roaring start to the season.
As a result, Manuel Pellegrini's side move eight points clear of Premier League champions Chelsea, who went down 2-1 to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
