Chris Smalling has said that he is relishing the role of "bully" in the Manchester United defence this season.
The 25-year-old has partnered Daley Blind in central defence this season and thinks that they are building a good partnership together.
"I have always liked that competition with the striker and obviously Daley is not that sort of centre back who is going to dominate so it's a case of I take that mantle on and I am enjoying it," Smalling told reporters.
"I feel like I bullied quite a few players in matches in the past but hopefully I can get the consistency where it can be on show every week now.
"I feel like I am playing well and I am enjoying my football. I feel comfortable playing with Daley. It is good to keep playing each game knowing that there are not too many changes at the moment because we are doing well.
