Experienced striker Roque Santa Cruz is reportedly heading back to Malaga, just eight months after leaving the Spanish outfit for Cruz Azul.
The 34-year-old hit 17 goals in 70 games for Malaga between 2012 and 2014, before joining Mexican side Cruz Azul at the end of last year.
According to AS, the striker has struggled to settle in Mexico despite hitting four goals in 10 league games and has been offered the chance to return to his former club on a one-year deal.
Santa Cruz, who has also played for the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester City during a well-travelled career, has netted 32 goals in 106 games for Paraguay.
