Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been full of praise for Ross Barkley ahead of the midfielder's 100th appearance for the Merseyside outfit.
The England international has become a prominent member of the Toffees' first team after bursting through the senior ranks a few years ago.
Martinez has admitted that he has been particularly impressed by the 21-year-old's performances this season.
"It's quite remarkable given his age and the bad injury he has had," Martinez told reporters in today's press conference. "In the last 20 games I have seen an incredible development in Ross's game.
"His performances this season have been really impressive. He knows exactly now what kind of player he is and he has a world-class future."
Barkley has scored two goals in six Premier League games.
