Hugo Sanchez hits out at 'scoundrel' Louis van Gaal

Manchester United's Dutch manager Louis van Gaal smiles ahead of the English Premier League football match between Manchester United and Newcastle United at Old Trafford in Manchester, north west England, on August 22, 2015
Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez has launched a scathing attack on Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal over his treatment of Javier Hernandez.
The Dutchman was caught on camera giving his assistantRyan Giggs an intense glare after Hernandez missed a penalty during the Red Devils' 4-0 win over Club Brugge in the Champions League.
The look was interpreted by many as signalling the end of the Mexican striker's Old Trafford career, with Hernandez leaving England for Bayer Leverkuzen one week later.
However, Van Gaal's marked reaction to the penalty miss has incurred the wrath of the player's compatriot Sanchez, who labelled the United coach as a "scoundrel".
He told Futbol Picante: "Van Gaal made a bad decision - and it's not one he's done for the first time, he's done it 50,000 times.

"I've coached and a coach cannot do that to their own player. I'd go out and applaud him and tell him to trust in himself. But that look he gave Giggs... What a scoundrel.
"It was a bad game for Chicharito but any player in the world can do that. Van Gaal is a scoundrel; hopefully those in England realise he is a bad person and treats his players poorly.
"He should be professional. The players deserve professional and humane treatment."
Hernandez signed a three-year deal with Leverkuzen one day before the transfer window closed
