Roy Hodgson: 'Raheem Sterling can win 100 caps'

England manager Roy Hodgson (L) talks to midfielder Raheem Sterling at the A.Le Coq Arena in Tallinn, Estonia on October 11, 2014
Roy Hodgson has said that Raheem Sterling could win 100 England caps.
The 20-year-old was left out of the England starting lineup in their 6-0 win over San Marino as Hodgson revealed that he wanted Leicester City's Jamie Vardy to gain international experience.
"I didn't play him in San Marino to give others a chance, but he's ready to go tomorrow and we're hoping he brings his City form with him," Hodgson told reporters

"It's a big year for him. He'll have a lot of big years - France in 2016, Russia in 2018, 2020 all over Europe, and [Qatar] 2022.
"At his age, he has plenty more to look forward to. I'm sure that one day he'll be looking forward to sitting here alongside me with over 100 caps."
The new Manchester City signing made his England debut in 2012 and has appeared 16 times.
