Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has claimed that Lionel Messi 'is not human' following another match-winning performance from the attacker.
Messi scored twice and contributed one assist in Barcelona's 4-1 win over Levante on Sunday, but the Argentine did miss his second penalty of the match in the 75th minute.
When asked if the miss makes Messi human, Enrique turned the question around, claiming that the 28-year-old's overall performance is what makes him not from this earth.
"Is missing some penalties the only thing that makes him human? No. That isn't what makes him human because he went on to score two goals and gave one assist. There's very little about Messi that is human," Enrique told reporters.
Neymar and Marc Bartra were also both on the scoresheet as Barcelona made it four wins from four league games this season.
